Named for Peter C. Christopherson, father of a founding member, the P.C.C. Stone, our four-event annual Men’s bonspiel starts tonight, March 5, 2009.

Eighteen teams, including teams from Triangle, Ardsley, Philadelphia, Norfolk, Potomac, Nutmeg, and of course Plainfield will compete through Sunday.

Curl at the finest club in the state of New Jersey. (Okay, it’s the only club in the state but it would be the finest even if there were others.) Terrific food all weekend long, generous pours from the PCC bartenders and great competition. If you’re not from the Tri-State area, here’s a chance to curl and maybe even take in a bit of New York City between games.

It’s our second year offering money for victories. We’re not talking huge dollars and you won’t get a mitt full of Andrew Jacksons for every win but it was popular last year and we’re doing it again. We’re sure you’ll like the dough more than a pin. There’s also a Calcutta so you have a chance to win money even if your team doesn’t earn it on the ice.
